Outstanding 5 year old Royal Hit gelding: Due to the need to reduce our numbers our great mate Jack or Callum Park Radcliffe is now sadly offered for sale. This attractive, charismatic little champion is just home after a hugely successful Dressage With The Stars competition where, although he is still developing and has much more growing to do, he WON his consolation 5 year old test in a classy field of the best youngsters in the country.
Elegant liver chestnut Jack currently stands at 16.1 1/2 hands and should mature at just under 16.3. He is yet another sensational Royal Hit progeny with the presence, work ethic and huge, elastic and extravagant movement he is renowned for producing. Jack's mother is a superb thoroughbred, Show Promise, who has produced many excellent youngsters for Callum Park and is herself the sister to former National level Grand Prix horse Versailles whose piaffe and passage were renowned as amongst the best in the country.
Jack's rideability is outstanding, as is his suppleness and positive way of going. His attitude is "ears forward and go!" and he gives a delightful impression in his tests, often described as "charming and willing", as having "super cadence and expression" and an "elegant prospect with much potential for the future" by A level judges. Jack's walk is excellent, relaxed and with great over track, the trot is supremely elastic with a lovely cadence and his huge canter is a highlight - uphill, scopey yet adjustable. His paces regularly receive over 7's and higher and will be even more outstanding as he matures.
Training level wise, whilst young Jack has more growing to do, he already has a flying change each way and is training all the elementary movements brilliantly. He has been carefully, correctly and patiently started and educated by a professional FEI rider his whole life with the highest levels of dressage in mind. Jack is a quick and clever learner and his willingness cannot be overstated.
Jack has been carefully exposed to a huge range of environments and consequently is extremely level headed and is the same at competitions as he is at home. He has regularly competed at CDIs and DJWTS and is as happy to compete both indoors and out. In fact, Jack's temperament is so outstanding that we actually use him as an "uncle" to other youngsters in the truck, float and at comps as well as a lead pony for our breakers! He is trustworthy and is the horse that we are more than comfortable to put anyone on, including a 16 year old National Paralympic Champion, and he just goes the same for everyone. Jacky boy is such a delightful person, a pleasure to handle and manage in every way and is a wonderful and fun horse to have in our barn. There will be many tears shed at Callum Park by us and our friends (who all also adore him) when he leaves us with his lucky new owner.
He is a genuine and outstanding prospect for dressage, (although I think he would be equally at home in the eventing sphere), who has already achieved much success although he has not reached anywhere near his potential yet. All the hard work has been done.
The last horse Callum Park sold is the world class CP (Callum Park) Dresden, who is the 2014 NSW 6 year old Champion as well as receiving many State and National titles. Callum Park Freya was also bred and produced by us and sold as a 5 year old, she also has achieved much success and is a fine example of the lovely horses that we have started and developed.
Royal Hit (Imported/Deceased) needs no introduction having produced numerous Licensed Sons and State Premium daughters, World Young Horse representatives, AWHA Champions, and numerous Elite and Premium awarded foals. His progeny have taken the world by storm with huge success through Europe and the US, and he is now producing Nationally successful youngsters in Australia such as Maree Tomkinson's Romper Stomper, (himself out of a thoroughbred dam) who won his 6 Year Old class at this years DJWTS.
Jack is as sound as a bell and has had a comprehensive Vet check and full set of of x-rays. He is up to date with respect to vaccinations, worming, shoeing and dental and has been afforded the highest level of care and nutrition his whole life.
He is for sale to the best of homes only and this is a truly genuine sale of an outstanding horse. No time wasters please.
